Biggest On Line Games

April 14, 2008

Ten million players. However you look at it, that’s a lot. World of Warcraft not only dwarfs all other massively-multiplayer games, it dwarfs a good number of countries — not silly countries like Monaco and Greenland, either, but perfectly sensible ones. Like Sweden, say, or Israel. But how do the holdings of this legion of players compare to the corporate giants of the world?

Or do they? You may not be able to buy shares in your Warcraft server, but you can certainly invest in its future. Even continuing to play on a particular server is in a sense an expression of confidence. Unsuccessful online games, like floundering companies, are bound to have the plug pulled on them at some point. As you play, your character accumulates value via experience points, equipment, currency and commodities. What do you get if you total that value across the game’s whole population?

Westlife the voice within

April 6, 2008

i like westlife so much with their new album us againts the world. But the most album that i like was the rose and the title song was total eclipse of the heart. their voice was gorgeous and nice talaga and message nang songs. The best sila gumawa nang revival. One of my favorite singer is Mark. His voice was too unique among boybands. parang mahirap gayahin ang boses nya. But he is gay, they said. anyway i collect their album from the swear it again until the latest album. I hope you like this song..

On line Games addict

April 4, 2008

I really love to play on line games like Tantra, Ragnarok, Flyff, etc. After my hospital duty I go directly to my favorite internet cafe and spent at least 6 hours and my friends called my Tantra Adik.

My friend invited me go with him in internet cafe to play Generals. He pay my time with him. Then I saw a young child who played Tantra and I was curious with that game because I didn’t play that game before. The child spent so many hours just to leveling his character. Then the child teached me to play that game. What are their powers and character. Then I started to play alone.

I spent my money just to play that on line game before. I spent with the minimu, of 300 pesos per day to pay my time and buying game cards. My mother always scolded me because she didn’t know what am I doing here. I always absent on my class and duty just to play that game. Until I dropped all my subjects and not proceed on my 4th yr college.

My father brought me a new computer just to satisfied my interest playing that game. But one thing that I can’t forget all my life. On line games makes you addict.

The New CPR

April 3, 2008

NEW YORK - You can skip the mouth-to-mouth breathing and just press on the chest to save a life. In a major change, the American Heart Association said Monday that hands-only CPR — rapid, deep presses on the victim’s chest until help arrives — works just as well as standard CPR for sudden cardiac arrest in adults.

Experts hope bystanders will now be more willing to jump in and help if they see someone suddenly collapse. Hands-only CPR is simpler and easier to remember and removes a big barrier for people skittish about the mouth-to-mouth breathing.

"You only have to do two things. Call 911 and push hard and fast on the middle of the person’s chest," said Dr. Michael Sayre, an emergency medicine professor at Ohio State University who headed the committee that made the recommendation.

Hands-only CPR calls for uninterrupted chest presses — 100 a minute — until paramedics take over or an automated external defibrillator is available to restore a normal heart rhythm.

This action should be taken only for adults who unexpectedly collapse, stop breathing and are unresponsive. The odds are that the person is having cardiac arrest — the heart suddenly stops — which can occur after a heart attack or be caused by other heart problems. In such a case, the victim still has ample air in the lungs and blood and compressions keep blood flowing to the brain, heart and other organs.

A child who collapses is more likely to primarily have breathing problems — and in that case, mouth-to-mouth breathing should be used. That also applies to adults who suffer lack of oxygen from a near-drowning, drug overdose, or carbon monoxide poisoning. In these cases, people need mouth-to-mouth to get air into their lungs and bloodstream.

The CPR guidelines had been inching toward compression-only. The last update, in 2005, put more emphasis on chest pushes by alternating 30 presses with two quick breaths; those "unable or unwilling" to do the breaths could do presses alone.

Now the heart association has given equal standing to hands-only CPR. Those who have been trained in traditional cardiopulmonary resuscitation can still opt to use it.

Sorry ha. Copy/Paste lang ito. Pa update lang kase.

Oathtaking

April 1, 2008

the CDK celebrated the 1st oathtaking ceremonylast March 27, 2008 held at Colegio de Kidapawan Gymnasium Kidapawan City. Our guest speaker was Mrs. Peral Po, RN, MN one of the BON in the Philippines. Out of 107 nursing graduates of CDK who took up the December 1-2 nursing licensure examination. Only 36 new nurses from CDK passed the board exam. We waited at least 2 months for the result. But in my experienced I volunteer in RHU while waiting for the result so that I will not get bored at home.

Mrs. Po said that we are luckily because out of 67thousand + nursing graduates (regular and  retakers) only 28 thousand + passed the examination. The examination was so difficult and I can’t imagine that I passed it. Now, here we are in the front of the BON we were taking the oath for the new professional nurses. We always thank God for the guidance and bless that He gave to us.

To God to be Glory…

I passed the exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 28,924 out of 67,728 passed the Nurse (First Timers, Repeaters, Removals and Voluntary Retakers of all subjects) Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last December 2007. Ten (10) out of the 14 Retakers as per C.A. Decision passed and 729 out of the 1,132 Special Certification Retakers for C.G.F.N.S. passed the examination.

Luckyly, Im the one who those passed the Nursing Licensure Examination. How God is Great. He gave me a second chance to prove to them that I can made it. My parents were so proud to me when they know that I passed. After that they made a streamer and Tarpulin. The only promise that I can give to them is to take care my license and my patients

Registered Nurse

The title of Nurse has many applications in modern medicine. Each specific type of nurse has a different set of responsibilities: Registered nurses (RNs), Nurse practitioners, Head nurses or nurse supervisors, Licensed practical nurses (LPNs), Nursing home nurses, Home health nurses, and Nursing aides. While there are many shared tasks, these nursing professions require special skills, and different levels of patient interactions. We’ve compiled the many nursing job descriptions below.

Registered nurses (RN) comprise the largest group of healthcare workers. Most RNs work directly with patients and their families. They are the primary point of contact between the patient and the world of health care, both at the bedside and in out-patient settings. RNs perform frequent patient evaluations, including monitoring and tracking vital signs, performing procedures such as IV placement, phlebotomy, and administering medications. Because the RN is much more regular contact with patients than are physicians, the RN is usually first to notice problems or raise concerns about patient progress.

RNs also develop the day-to-day nursing care plans both in hospital, and for care after discharge by families and visiting nurses.
